Announcing our innovative partnership with the werklund foundation

Werklund Foundation

In striving to fulfill our joint vision of proactively advancing the social, emotional and ethical development of our youth, Rapport Leadership International has partnered with the Werklund Foundation of Calgary, Canada to create a Youth Leadership Program Initiative.  This initiative provides students and teachers with powerful leadership development programs designed to enhance the leadership culture of schools throughout North America.

Rapport Leadership International of Las Vegas, Nevada provides experiential, performance-based training to develop leadership competencies that create sustainable behavioral change in individuals and organizations. Rapport’s commitment to becoming the leading resource for schools in teaching character, inspiring learning, and helping students gain the confidence and skills needed to positively influence their future, makes them the ideal partner for the Werklund Foundation. The Werklund Foundation strives to make a positive difference in the lives of our youth by supporting educational programs that will assist them in achieving their highest potential as they grow to become self sufficient, successful and productive members of our communities.

Rapport Leadership International and the Werklund Foundation, in conjunction with an Independent Evaluator and Foundations for the Future Charter Academy (FFCA), will be doing a study to evaluate the effectiveness and results of Rapport’s Teen Leadership Breakthrough™ course.  This study will be conducted in 2007, and will consist of 88 teens attending FFCA High School, Dr.Norman Bethune Campus.  Associate Principal Justin Kool of FFCA says, “I see huge potential for this training to positively change the world through the delivery of it to our youth. … I can only imagine how a process like this can free many of our students from emotional blocks, ignite true passion, give clear focus and develop a strong, unshakeable confidence in one’s self.” Rapport’s Teen Leadership Breakthrough™ course will be held April 27, 2007 at Mount Royal College and the Independent Evaluator will be performing psychological measurements over a six month period.  Both Rapport Leadership International and the Werklund Foundation eagerly anticipate the results of the study and the opportunity to positively impact the lives of youth across North America.
